The Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) were excited to kick off 2025 with its first event, a Neurodiversity Awareness Session, in collaboration with Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn Bhd (EY) on 14 January 2025.

The objective of the session was to learn about the power of thinking differently from EY’s 9-year journey in Neurodiversity and to build understanding among financial sector Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) on the value it can bring to the business. There were three panellists: Mr Low Choy Huat from EY, Ms Intan Nahariah Yaacob from Petronas, and Izzat Zaid from Minda Inklusif. The speaker of the session was Ms Lim Su Jin from EY.

Special thanks to the Head of Human Resources, Head of Learning & Talent Development, Head of People Sustainability, and Squad Lead from our 11 member banks, consisting of Affin Bank, Alliance Bank, CIMB Bank, Citibank, Hong Leong Bank, HSBC Bank, Maybank, MUFG, OCBC Bank, RHB Bank, and Standard Chartered for joining ABM in exploring the role of neurodiversity in shaping organisational culture and practices.
