ABM Hosts 52nd ASEAN Banking Council Meeting in Kuala Lumpur from 4-5 December 2024

December 5, 2024

Two days of friendship, collaboration and making history!

The Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) would like to take a moment to thank all delegates of the 52nd ASEAN Banking Council Meeting and Proton. As your hosts from 3-5 December 2024, we are deeply honored to have had the opportunity to let you experience our beautiful country and hope that your time here was as enriching and memorable as the meeting itself.

In the true spirit of ASEAN’s ONE Vision, ONE Identity, and ONE Community, we at ABM remain committed to fostering more dynamic and forward-looking collaborations, innovation, and the exchange of ideas that will benefit all our nations. The gathering was not just an opportunity to reconnect with senior banking leaders; it is a platform for us to reaffirm our shared commitment to the future of ASEAN’s financial landscape.

As Malaysia prepares to take over ASEAN’s chairmanship in 2025, our leadership is poised to drive regional integration and address global challenges. We shall continue to reinforce mutual trust and advance our shared goals by strengthening the bonds between our National Banking Associations and member banks.  Let us take action NOW for tomorrow in setting the stage for greater cooperation and shared success in our increasingly interconnected digital world.

Once again, we are truly excited to have hosted you in Kuala Lumpur last week. On to the next ASEAN level cooperation!
