The Association of Banks in Malaysia was honoured to be part of the #MyGAS2025 National Panel titled “Fuelling The Evolving Malaysian Gas Landscape” on 13 February 2025 organised in Kuala Lumpur by Malaysian Gas Association.

The discussion focused on how global trends and implications can be tailored to Malaysia’s specific needs, exploring how the gas industry can play a more significant role in the country’s energy transition, the challenges local players face and how financing solutions can fuel this responsible transition.

The session also provided a detailed, in-depth look at Malaysia’s strategies for navigating the global energy transition while meeting national sustainability targets.
