ABM had the pleasure of meeting with Ms Queenie Wong, Ms Boey Wong and Ms Elsa Cheng from HKAB on 23 May 2024 when they were in Malaysia for the inaugural HKAB Malaysia Business Forum.  During the meeting, both associations shared information about the roles and purpose of their respective organisations, and held candid discussions on the key areas of focus for 2024.  Though our two countries are thousands of miles apart, we found that our members share many of the same issues and concerns. Both HKAB and ABM also have certain common priorities including creating greater awareness on scams, digitalization of the banking industry and reaching out to the community.

It was indeed an enlightening and fruitful meeting, and we hope to have more opportunities to collaborate with HKAB in the future.
