Today, The Association of Banks in Malaysia’s senior management team, led by Executive Director, Dr Amina Kayani, had the privilege of visiting the Parliament of Malaysia and witnessing a sitting of the Senate (Dewan Negara). We are honored to be hosted by Tuan Haji Muhd Sujairi bin Abdullah, Secretary of the Senate, Parliament of Malaysia.

It was a very enriching experience to be able to observe democratic process in action where senators debate on policies, raised questions, and contributed to the governance of the nation. ABM also had the opportunity to walk along the historical halls and get up close with this prestigious institution.
