The 24th ASEAN Banking Conference in Yangon brought together regional banking leaders (including Daw Than Than Swe, Governor of the CENTRAL BANK OF MYANMAR (YANGON), and Paul C. G. Gwee, Secretary-General of the ASEAN Bankers Association) to tackle the dual challenge of digital transformation and maintaining trust.

Big takeaways revolved around: regional QR connectivity, adopting stronger cybersecurity measures like SCAs, and ensuring robust fraud prevention. The Association of Banks In Malaysia (ABM) was honoured to provide virtual attendance and support!
