On 4 September 2025, The Association of Banks In Malaysia (ABM) hosted the Bengkel eSPA with Jabatan Perumahan Negara, Kementerian Perumahan & Kerajaan Tempatan, Association of Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM) and member banks to explore the electronic Sale & Purchase Agreement (eSPA).

This national initiative will replace paper contracts with a secure digital process—bringing efficiency, consistency, and confidence to Malaysia’s housing market.
