AFFIN ISLAMIC contributed zakat to Yayasan MSU on 1 April 2024. The zakat contribution event was attended by the Chairman of AFFIN ISLAMIC, YBrs. Tuan Haji Musa bin Abdul Malek, and the CEO of AFFIN ISLAMIC, YBhg. Dato’ Paduka Syed Mashafuddin Syed Badarudin, at the Performing Arts Theater (PAT), MSU, Shah Alam, Selangor. The zakat funds will be utilised as 'duit raya' for ASNAF students, and some were allocated for the MSU Walk for Humanity: Free Gaza & Palestine programme. In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, AFFIN ISLAMIC has collaborated with Rumah Pengasih Warga Prihatin (RPWP) for Projek Pelangi: Contribution of 'Baju Raya' for Orphanage Homes. This initiative aims to support orphanages by providing new sets of ‘baju raya’ for the Eid celebration. The beneficiaries of this initiative were selected from three orphanage homes: Rumah Amal Permata Hatiku in Gombak, Pusat Jagaan Penyayang Nur Iman in Setapak, and Rumah Perlindungan Nur Qaseh in Taman Melati. The distribution event for the ‘baju raya’ was attended by the Head of the Shariah Department at AFFIN ISLAMIC, Ustaz Mohd Faiz Rahim, on 3 April 2024. #AFFINISLAMIC #AlwaysAboutYou #AffinMY #AFFINZakat #AFFINIB

AFFIN ISLAMIC, in collaboration with the Khadijah International Waqf (L) Foundation (KIWF), distributed Iftar packs to seven beneficiary locations, including mosques, a hospital, and a welfare centre. This initiative is part of the Majlis Ilmu Khadijah 5.0 project, which aims to support the community, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, by sharing blessings through charitable contributions. The first distribution took place at Akademi Latihan Ketenteraan Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (ALK UPNM) for 200 students, followed by Masjid Al-Muhajirin, Pangkalan Udara Subang, Masjid Jamek Alam Shah on Jalan Tun Razak in KL, Masjid Al-Imam Ash-Shafie in Taman Maluri, Masjid Khalid bin Al-Walid at Kementerian Pertahanan Malaysia, and Wad Onkologi, Pembedahan dan Perubatan at Hospital Tunku Azizah (HKL).
