Islamic banking follows Sharia principles, which prohibit usury and support ethical financial practices. Maybank, as an Islamic bank, aligns its operations with these principles, contributing to a more ethical and sustainable financial system. Mr. Seow emphasized Maybank's commitment to supporting businesses of all sizes, with a particular focus on fostering sustainability.
