At Alliance Bank, we are committed to driving sustainable actions and helping to preserve our planet. We recently partnered with IPC Shopping Centre to run the 'Gåva with Your Recyclables' campaign, a 10-week recycling campaign aimed at educating and increasing awareness of the importance of sustainability while inculcating recycling habits among Klang Valley residents. Every kilogramme of recycled waste was converted to points that could be used to redeem gifts as well as shopping and discount vouchers. To further promote this positive behaviour, Alliance Bank gave away an exclusive Alliance Bank tote bags to our credit card holders who recycled more than 6kg of paper, plastic or aluminum. Our employees and customers collectively contributed more than 5000kg of recyclables during this campaign. Every small gesture can make big environmental changes. We continue to create meaningful impact on sustainability in collaboration with our people, customers, and community to build a better future. #ForTheFuture #ESG #Acceler8

Whether with ocean plastics, recycled plastic and plastic from corns – we are committed to making all our payment cards virgin plastic free by 2030 the latest. 💳♻️ Last year, G+D became the first manufacturer to produce cards from 100% recycled PVC (polyvinyl chloride). This is something we must and can change in the payment card industry – we have been able to reduce around 75% of the CO2 emissions generated during production by recycling discarded PVC. The added value goes beyond that - because by recycling, we can help the environment twice. In collaboration with @Parley for the Oceans, we take plastic collected from coastal areas and islands and use it to make payment cards with a new purpose. Banks can thus provide their customers the possibility to use their payment cards as a social statement and thus strengthen their relationships. #paymentcards #ecofriendly #recycled #banking #innovation

"According to the World Bank, global waste is predicted to increase 70% by 2050 unless immediate and significant action is taken." Reading that Tetra Pak plans to invest up to €40m annually over the coming years, in line with its targets on collection and recycling of beverage cartons, is exactly the kind of step packaging businesses should be taking to offset their environmental impact - and something we're always championing at Dufaylite. Our commitment to less materials, less weight, and therefore less waste, is just one step we're taking. Read more on Tetra Pak's ambitions: https://bit.ly/3pqgEOK #EarthDay #recycling #Dufaylite

Although the existing labels are fully recyclable, the brand believes that removing them could make the recycling process simpler and reduce the overall amount of material used. The trial will take place from January to March 2024 and will be limited to selected cities in the UK. In recent times, The Coca-Cola Company has taken several steps to reduce packaging waste. One of the measures includes changing the color of Sprite bottles from green to clear plastic to make it easier to recycle them back into bottles. Additionally, the company has introduced attached caps to its bottles to ensure that the cap remains connected to the bottle after opening, thereby reducing the likelihood of littering. Initiatives like these are a significant step forward in sustainability, inspiring other brands to follow suit and reduce the environmental impacts of their products.
