Recently, AmBank, through its AmKasih programme, hosted its annual Raya Shopping Charity Programme, this time celebrating with the school children from Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Rinching. Around 100 students were invited to Mydin USJ to shop for all their Hari Raya needs including Baju Melayu, Sampin, Baju Kurung, Shoes and more. 40 AmBankers volunteered to make the CSR event even more meaningful as they helped the kids with all their shopping, and more importantly, took good care of them. Know your audience (and not just their problems). Here's a brilliant example. Muslims traditionally break fast during Ramadan by eating dates, so shops are full of beautifully packaged boxes of dates.
