It was announced in the Budget Speech 2010 that a service tax of RM50 a year would be imposed on each principal credit card and charge card and a service tax of RM25 a year on each supplementary card effective 1 January 2010. ABM had issued a press release to provide some clarification to the public with regard to this matter.
