Protecting Your ATM Cards
 ATM Card is a debit card that you can use to access your account(s) at your Bank, and at other MEPS ATM. Besides that, you can use your ATM Card to access other service Terminals such as Cash Deposit Machines and EFTPOS terminals (if the service is available at your Bank). If your ATM Card bears the VISA PLUS, VISA Interlink, MasterCard Cirrus or Maestro logo, you will be able to perform the ATM or EFTPOS transaction overseas. Do’s
- Keep your receipts and use them to check entries against bank statement/ passbook regularly.
- Memorize your PIN, and then destroy the PIN notification.
- Change your PIN periodically.
- Keep your card clean.
- Keep your card in a safe/secured place.
- Report immediately to your bank if your ATM card is lost / stolen or your balance is incorrect.
Don'ts
- Do not allow a third party to transact on your behalf.
- Do not throw your receipt away immediately after a transaction.
- Do not keep your PIN in the same place as your card.
- Do not keep your PIN in your address book or diary.
- Do not keep your PIN in an unlocked drawer.
- Do not keep your PIN in your wallet or purse.
- Do not leave your card in your briefcase, car or office drawer.
- Do not place your card close to heat and direct sunlight or magnetic device (i.e. TV, radio and etc)
- Do not let the magnetic stripes of 2 cards come in contact.
- Do not use the ATM if you see unusual or suspicious apparatus attached to the machine.
