Farewell Dinner For Three CEOs Who Were Fellow Members Of The Association Of Banks In Malaysia

It was a special night for three top bankers when the Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) hosted a farewell dinner recently to recognize their vast contributions to the banking industry and celebrate their achievements.

All the chief executive officers of the ABM Council Banks as well as heads of other member banks turned up to pay homage to the guests of honour - the previous Chairman of the Association and former CEO of Affin Bank Berhad, Dato’ Sri Abdul Hamidy, former CEO of EON Bank Berhad, Mr. Albert Lau and CEO of RHB Capital Berhad, Mr. Michael Barrett.

The banking fraternity will miss these exceptional gentlemen who between them have a combined industry experience of more than one hundred years!

The Association Of Banks In Malaysia would like to thank Mr. Albert Lau, Mr. Michael Barrett and especially Dato’ Sri Hamidy for their immeasurable support and invaluable contributions to the industry and the Association. The Association wishes them a happy retirement and all the best in their future undertakings.
